Airfal returns from Light + Building 2016 extremely satisfied

Airfal International describes its participation in the latest edition of Light + Building in Frankfurt as a resounding success. The trade fair is the biggest in the world for lighting and building services technology and is a must for all companies in the sector.

"We are extremely satisfied with the results achieved this year. We have exceeded all the expectations we had for the fair”, points out Head of Export, Manuel de Dios. Airfal has been going to Light + Building since it first began in 2000, and in line with its pattern of growth, this year it hosted over 200,000 trade visitors and almost 2,600 exhibitors. This represents a 4% increase in participation compared to the previous edition. "The fair just keeps growing, and this can be seen in the increase in visitor numbers. We had a constant stream of professionals interested in our catalogue visiting our stand”, says de Dios.

From the range of products the company exhibited at the fair, the product which generated most interest was the latest LED technology applied to our watertight light fittings, and the OVEN model.

The OVEN light fitting was created in the Airfal laboratories as a result of tests carried out by the specialist technical team. This model is part of the watertight fittings range and can withstand temperatures of up to 200 °C with an IP68 and IK7. One of its most outstanding features is that the light fitting works directly from the mains supply voltage.

The fair, which is held every two years, not only presents the latest innovations in the field of lighting, but also sets the trend for the industry. The head of Airfal's RD&I, Carlos Jiménez, admits to being extremely satisfied because “We are on the right track. Market emphasis is on quality and differentiated products, and our outlook is one of adapting to clients’ needs offering them unique products”.

Airfal met clients and suppliers from all over the world, but the presence of companies from Arab countries, expressing significant interest in the 'MADE IN SPAIN' products offered by the company, stood out the most. In recent months, the technical department has been working on products with high technical specifications and on the complete manufacture of its light fittings. This effort is being rewarded not only in terms of sales, but also in establishing contacts.

The entire Export department went to Frankfurt, as did the Technical, Procurement and RD&I departments.
