Airfal increases sales by 15% in Spain and consolidates its fourth year of growth

Airfal has grown for the fourth consecutive year, increasing its sales in Spain. Turnover figures for 2015 rose by 15% compared to the previous year, reaffirming an upward sales trend at a national level. Airfal has a sales network of 19 official distributors across the entire country, bringing light fittings made in the Aragon region to all corners of Spain.

This growth is the result of the company’s overriding commitment to quality, which continues to foster its specialisation in products with high technical specifications, as well as its latest catalogue entries.

2015 was a year that saw important additions to the Airfal catalogue, with a significant focus on LEDs, incorporating seven new LED models.

New models produced by Airfal’s technical department also made their way onto the market last year, undertaking at all times to adapt to customers’ demands and needs. This is how the TR2 for High Temperatures was born, that doubles its power for areas with temperatures of up to 80°C by dividing the fluorescent tubes and the equipment into two parts. Or the Oven model, a light fitting that is able to withstand temperatures of up to 200°C.

But undoubtedly, the most prominent production milestone in 2015 was the launch of the SUPRA model, a watertight IP65 light fitting entirely manufactured at Airfal facilities, setting the course that the company is now seeking to follow: to have total control over the production process, consolidating its MADE IN SPAIN approach and customisation.

Airfal is also growing abroad

Airfal doesn’t only sell in Spain: it exports almost half of its production to more than 50 countries around the world. France is one of its major export destinations, a country with which it maintains a robust business relationship and which purchases 54% of everything that crosses Spanish borders. France, however, is not the only country to receive Airfal’s products, as amongst its client portfolio there is a strong representation by Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and African countries.

Airfal at the Light + Building Fair

This March, light fitting manufacturers will be participating in the Light + Building in Frankfurt, the world’s leading trade fair for lighting that brings together more than 200,000 visitors from the lighting industry. Airfal has been taking part in this fair for over 20 years and this March will once again be located in Hall 3.1, at Stand B79.
