The Best Architects Awards

For this year’s edition of The Best Architects, 93 winners have been chosen from numerous entries in Europe, distinguishing the best in architecture design.

ArchiExpo highlights two of the Gold Winners in the single house category: Haus in Riehen and House R.

Haus in Riehen by Switzerland-based Reuter Raeber is a contemporary house built in glass, concrete, wood and metal, showcasing unique contrasting interplays between heavy and light, load and support.

House R. by Berlin-based architecture firm Modersohn & Freiesleben is for a private client in Canada. It is a brilliant masterpiece constructed in a natural environment, an intelligent play with the house typologies that can be found in the sparsely populated area of New Brunswick where it stands.
