CID for petrol stations - Oil Lybia: Stripe coated aluminium composite panels for canopies

Since 2011 Alcoa Architectural Products has delivered Reynobond pre-painted aluminium composite panels as cladding material for totems, canopies, facades and signs for several OiLibya petrol stations in Tunisia. Each petrol station has a surface of 450 sqm. The OiLibya brand was created to gain significant market awareness. Owning more than 3,000 petrol stations worldwide the company’s brand is easy to identify by a simple, elegant corporate identity.

Being used for more and more corporate design projects because of its suitability for various applications, Reynobond convinces as an alternative to post-painted solid aluminium. As solution, that is long-term, affordable and ecological it underlines the company’s quality through its durability, weather resistance and various processing options without requiring special treatments. In addition, Reynobond is characterised by a long service life that requires little maintenance. The flexibility in transformation allows freedom in design for unusual shapes.

For aesthetic reasons, to strengthen the branding and to better resist aging, the canopies of the petrol stations were stripe coated, which is ideal to directly coil-coat the two corporate colours. This minimises working time and material costs by eliminating expensive films and expensive post-processing of

materials. Due to the paint quality of DURAGLOSS 3000 the coil-coated colours are also much more weather resistant.
