Arper''s Kinesit chair wins the iF Gold Award 2015

The jury explained their enthusiastic reception of Kinesit as follows: “This office chair has a thoroughly original design. In the sector of office furniture, design also aims to create a sense of motivation and enjoyment in performing one''s tasks at work. This chair, with its modern and sleek silhouette, meets this requirement in a completely original way. All commands are hidden inside the chair thus lending unprecedented lightweight and clean aesthetics to the product.”

The jury, made up of 52 design experts, gathered in Hamburg in January and deliberated on the winners of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2015 over the course of three days. Only 75 out of 4,783 participants were awarded the top prize, the iF Gold Award. Winning products are displayed at the iF design exhibition held in HafenCity, the district built in the old harbor area of Hamburg. Kinesit is one hundred-percent compliant with the regulatory requirements of the sector. The built-in Self-Tensioning Weight Response Mechanism, designed to automatically respond to the weight and pressure of the user, allows a synchronized movement, while the height adjustment commands are hidden underneath the seat. Nothing breaks the seamless design of its elegant silhouette.
