The Rhône-Alpes County Building in Lyon houses l ,500 agent offices, a multipurpose room, committee rooms, reception oreas, parking facil ities, and a restau rant for personnel.

The heart of the building is an interior visible area, comprised of debating and meeting spaces. The interior network of luminous spaces is surrounded by the building which is coiled oround them, permitting natural lighting and outside views al all limes.

This composition multiplies and diversifies the spaces. The body of offices forms a continuous chain, a unique and flexible building that winds around the central space.
