The Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa is renowned for its contemporary Mediterranean architecture, rolling lawns, serene pool and tantalizing restaurant, all of which work in unison to provide guests with a memorable experience. To ensure guests are privy to the world renowned Sheraton experience, Chris Draper, the resort’s General Manager, ensures all additions to the resort are meticulously researched. When it came time to upgrade their outdoor heaters, it was no different.
“I was at the hotel design show in Vegas a few years back and was speaking to industry people to obtain some collateral and work with our designer,” Chris said. “One story led to another and then I found The Platinum Smart-Heat™ Gas series by Bromic. I heard they were at George’s At The Cove in San Diego, so I went down there and spoke to the general manager [and] then started planning the budgeting and spec’ing for our project.”
