Stainless Steel Finish for All Doors and Grilles
With over 85 rolling doors and grilles specified for the Qatar Education and Convention Center, stainless steel was the finish desired by the architect to compliment the aesthetics of the building. We were able to deliver all the different types of doors specified in stainless steel, finish #304.
This finish is even available for our rolling grilles – four of which were to close off registration desks when not in use; each spanning a length of 42ft. This allowed the same seamless look to continue around the center.
The AlarmGard fire door activation systems installed ensured that there were no unsightly chains and pulleys to be hidden, since AlarmGard is wired straight into the alarm system. Resetting after testing is automatic, so there is no need for center personnel to go around and reset each of the 19 fire doors in the center.
