Avatar Seating wins the Red Dot Award 2016

This award, considered as the “Oscar of the product design” is the most prestigious distinction for high quality design.

In our category, the jury has made this statement: “The design of Avatar conveys robustness, and thanks to its sophisticated material characteristics it meets the high requirements of its use.”

This year, the competition has received a total of 5.214 entries. The jury, composed of 41 international experts, came together in Ruhr Area to assess each and every object. This award is given exclusively to products that stand out from comparable entries due to their good design or innovative character.

This distinction confirms the importance of design and innovation at Daplast new products, and above all, our commitment to meet the requirements of each client project.

The Red Dot Design Museum Essen will exhibit the award-winning products from July 4. All the winning products will also be featured in the Red Dot Design Yearbook 2016/2017.

The Avatar seats are installed in some important sports venues as Qatar Handball Association Complex in Qatar, Gran Canaria Arena in Las Palmas, Armandie Stadium in France, or Tondiraba Ice Arena in Estonia.
