Contemporary charm and creative inspiration: Decobel sets the trend at Heimtextil 2017

Sophisticated fabrics, innovative textures and impressive patented techniques were the keynotes of the Decobel 2017 collection.

The 2017 edition of Heimtextil, which was held this year from 10 to 13 January, spotlighted the Tuscan producer Decobel, which presented its new collection at this important international occasion of high visibility. Sophisticated fabrics, innovative textures and impressive patented techniques were the keynotes of the Decobel 2017 collection.

It was a large collection, product of extensive research and expressed in a trendy, natural color palette: the new fabrics are tinted in pale shades, both warm and cool, in green and watery blue, as well as black and white, reaching all the way to the smoldering, vibrant allure of orange.

Not only new products, but also restyling of a number of best-sellers that have made the history of the company and for which it is known and acclaimed. Thanks to its production capacity, which distinguishes it from the classical figure of the editor, establishing a continuous and direct dialogue between production and edition, Decobel produces its fabrics in its own weaving plants and this allows it to incorporate an almost infinite customization in its creations. It is just with this view that it has developed a process of redying and extending the color range of its most successful products like Andromeda, Barneby, Sand, Clarissa, Trofeo, Romance which becomes New Romance, according to the latest and most elegant nuances, to respond to demands that grow increasingly specific.

Contemporary luxury meets the trends of the season: the Heimtextil commission selected as many as 16 different textile lines by Decobel - Via Lattea, Acropoli, Splendid, Rufus, Geodesia, Atelier, Jazmin, Gemma, Grinta, Furios, Kaos, Helios, Lidia, Sunrise, Castore, Old Type - to put on display in its Theme Park (Hall 6.0), where it presented all the trends that will guide the textile world between 2017 and 2018. In this edition, the theme was "Explorations", and the exhibit, curated each time by a different designer, was realized by the French Trend Agency Carlin Creative Trend Bureau.

But this was not the only recognition Decobel received during the fair: it was also named “Trend Company 2017” by the international architecture magazine AIT. Chosen among over 3,000 products by a team of 25 Trendscouts, Logan 1041 of Decobel was awarded the first prize in this eighth edition of the competition. 100% linen with a vintage/délavé effect, Logan is derived from the fabric Vesta and joins the successful line of three-dimensional fabrics, in perfect harmony with the market trends. “This important recognition rewards the quality level of our products” commented Gabriele Guidoni, Art Director of Decobel. “Our 3D fabrics are the expression of all our creative passion and the refinement of our technical skill”.

With 2,963 exhibitors from 67 countries, steadily increasing with respect to the 2,864 of the past edition, Heimtextil is reconfirmed as a “must” event for the operators in the sector who meet every year in Frankfurt to get a close look at all the new developments in the sector of decoration, textiles and design. The next event in which the company will participate is Paris Deco Off (19-23 January 2017), at the Edmond Petit Showroom (23, rue du Mail).
