Decobel: three-dimensional and quilted

Decobel teams a coordinated concept with trend-right innovation

Prato (Italy), June 2017 – A careful eye on current trends teams with the on-going pursuit of experiential tactile sensations: this is the leitmotiv of the new collection of fabrics by the luxury Italian textile brand Decobel. With the new product ranges on offer – three-dimensional and quilted – the brand has sought to create a new fabric concept, with thicker, more textured, more substantial options that step beyond the confines of the furnishing accessory to take on a key role in the home, thanks to their numerous applications and the exquisite touch they are able to bring.

The three-dimensional fabrics are complemented by nuances that take their cue from the world of nature, with the accent on trend-inspired colours and textures. Present once again is the seemingly timeless vintage air, given a fresh slant on delightful velvets with a geometric texture, masterfully studied using new fabric-making techniques. This is the concept underlying the Decobel 2017 collection: among the three-dimensional fabrics is Logan, 100% linen with a délavé look, the new evolution of the Vesta fabric, and Eveline, a strikingly high-performance matt nylon satin with a three-dimensional velvet texture. A hallmark feature of the collection is the customisation that can be requested, guaranteed by the fact that every Decobel product is designed and created exclusively in-house. The quilted fabrics include Clarissa, on a Trofeo base with a relief geometric pattern, the fruit of an innovative technique that ensures complete stability, and Gamma, a new 3D velvet fabric in wadded Trevira, with a diamond quilting pattern.

“What we’re seeking to transmit with this collection”, explained Gabriele Guidoni, Art Director of Decobel, “is the ability our fabrics have to combine sophisticated materials – obtained thanks to cutting-edge technology for creating top-quality, high-performance fabrics – with an all-round sensory experience, thanks to the enveloping, three-dimensional texture”.

Decobel’s mission is to “dress the home”, and this is why each fabric is devised to coordinate perfectly with the others in the collection, offering the customer a complete design concept, and no longer a single product, for a versatile, seamless result. Among the most impressive of these coordinated options is Abeille, featuring a 100% Trevira honeycomb pattern, ideal to bring a three-dimensional look not only to drapes and curtains, but also for home linen, offering a complete interior furnishing solution.
