Conceived for socializing or a romantic tête à tête, this sofa with its unique characteristics represents innovation but at the same time encapsulates the philosophy of Désirée, in which elegance and functionality go hand in hand.

Lovely Day is highly flexible and perfect for all occasions. It comes with innovative movable, self-supporting cushions with which to create different types of seating and ensure just the right comfort for any conformation. The real innovation of Lovely Day lies in the backrests, designed to remain in place once positioned to needs. The secret of their flexibility is a patented system concealed by the upholstery that connects the cushions and allows them to be placed wherever required. In this way the innovation of Lovely Day is integrated in the sofa without affecting its good looks.

The cushions also have a weight inside them so that they can be perfectly anchored in place and remain stable. The base of the cushions is in non-slip fabric, which also adds to stability and is completely out of sight so that Lovely Day maintains all its harmony and essential lines.

Lovely Day, with its extra deep seats, is ideal for different ambiences: perfect in the center of a room for socializing, or in an elegant waiting room where it adds comfort. If the backrest is placed in the middle of the sofa, it can seat a number of people sitting on both sides. Placing the cushions in an ‘S’ arrangement, provides seating for two couples, each with their own space. Another special feature of this contemporary item is that it can be converted into a bed. Designer Marc Sadler has designed it with seating that perfectly combines the functions of a sofa with those of a bed in such a way as to maximise comfort and optimise space anywhere in the house.

The Lovely Day structure is completed by sculpted metal feet that raise the sofa from the ground to give it an airy look and facilitate cleaning.
