Created by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez for Désirée, at the Salone this line showed the influence décor has on our daily actions.
Modular sofas and sideboards, the result of formal simplification and a choice of warm, natural materials. This is the essence of Désirée’s Arlon collection by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, presented at the 2018 Salone del Mobile.
The sofas in this new collection are airy, elegant and soft. The padding, seat suspension and concealed metal and aluminium frame, together with the strong personality of the base, make them extremely refined items.
Modular flexibility makes for great customisation with a selection of slim armrests with cushions, tub chairs and end units, elements, corner units, chaise lounge elements and poufs. The elegant metal base comes with a matt gold or burnished nickel finish to coordinate with your decor.
The Arlon collection also includes sideboards: elegant storage units in tinted elm, clay and polished wood with attractive details, also inside, in matt lacquered finish coordinated with the finish on the top. These useful units are available in a host of sizes.
Arlon, like all the projects by the Thun and Rodriguez team, is the result of in-depth studies into materials, technologies, the market and customers. These talented designers aim to influence the evolution of daily actions by combining essential good looks and immediate functionality.
