Effisus Project

The expansion and remodelling works of Faro airport began in 2015, aiming to improve the terminal’s capacity so that it is able to match the increasing demand, whilst addressing the predicted evolution of operations which require a higher rotation. These works promise to increase the terminal’s boarding and disembarking capacity from 2.400 to 3.000 passengers per hour, hence allowing more movement of aircraft on its runways.

These works are an investment made by ANA/VINCI, implying a value that exceeds 35 million euros.

For this endeavor, Effisus has contributed with the Effisus Ecofacade System, the integrated solution to ensure façade connections air and water tight.
