Maersk Tower

– Innovative and Sustainable Architecture in the heart of Copenhagen

With its beautiful exterior of 3,300 copper shutters, Mærsk Tower rises as an extension of the University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

Maersk Tower has won a large selection of awards and for a very good reason. The building is designed and built to meet the high demands for a setting for research within health and medical sciences and to beautifully integrate with the landscape and local area. Every detail was considered, and the result is innovative architecture and an inspirational framework in the heart of vibrant Copenhagen.

The interior is made of concrete, glass and wood, and the mix of delicate and solid materials helps to make the rooms into quiet premises, which with its timeless design and warmth will create a safe environment for the health and medical sciences.
