It is very hard to prevent our lively kids from any scratches during their play but we can take extra precautions to avoid major accidents. Children spend a lot of time on public playgrounds so it is good to follow some simple safety guidelines. First of all: supervise your child and make sure you have a good observation place. Secondly: check the playground area for dangerous objects such as broken glass and inspect the equipement for any damages. It would be also best to choose playground with shock-absorbing surfaces such as rubber, synthetic turf, sand, pea gravel, wood chips or mulch. Very important is to dress and behave appropriately during play. Remove clothing with drawstrings and teach your child to be careful, don't push each other and play kindly.
