Waldmann at Orgatec 2016

Biodynamics: Light with focus on original human needs

Waldmann, the pioneer of biodynamic lighting solutions, is exhibiting at this year's Orgatec from 25 to 29 October in Cologne, presenting various lighting innovations to create a natural light experience in the office.

The manufacturer will be staging its light management system PULSE VTL to create biodynamic lighting on its trade fair stand. This involves changes in brightness and light colour over the course of the day, in step with natural light, on a condensed time scale. From 6500 Kelvin in the morning, similar to daylight, to activate the senses, to a warm white 3000 Kelvin as evening approaches to create a more relaxed working atmosphere. All the innovations showcased at Orgatec are available with the option of biodynamic lighting:

The unusually flat suspended luminaire, the IDOO.pendant, from designer Burkhard Schlee, has a direct light component that ensures uniform, glare-fee light at workplaces with computer monitors, while the wide-angle indirect light component creates pleasant ambient lighting in the room.

By virtue of the modular system layout of the suspended linear system IDOO.line, it is possible, without the need for tools, to create a combination of beginning, middle and end luminaires capable of providing different lighting concepts for offices of different sizes. Also, the new innovative IDOO.fit, either integrated or surface-mounted, creates an unusual look and particularly pleasant ambient lighting in the office because of a direct component facing downwards and a soft indirect component facing sideways.

Additionally, the LAVIGO range of luminaires, created jointly by Jürgen Schubert, Structurelab Architekten Düsseldorf, has now been joined by a suspended luminaire.

You will find Waldmann at Orgatec in Hall 8.1, Stand B040.
