Handmade Encaustic Cement Tile by Karoistanbul

They are entirely handmade and natural. It consists of marble powder, cement, sand and natural color pigments. They are pressed under high pressure. The color layer is thin. The colors of patterns on the surface are immiscible. For this reason, grinding/polishing operation is unnecessary; and grinding/polishing operation is never applied to Karosiman series cement tiles. Sealant(s) which is nonpermeable to water and for stain and do not create a film layer on the surface has to be applied after setting process of tiles.
