From 5 – 9 March, LAMINAM, a specialist in the production of large-size ceramic slabs, will be taking part in Euroshop Düsseldorf, the most important three-yearly trade fair in the world of contract and specifically retail furnishings.
One of the companies most representative of the excellence and innovation of Italian industry worldwide, LAMINAM has chosen this occasion to show visitors – architects, interior designers and design experts – the endless potential offered by ceramic material in the two sizes in production: the 1000x3000mm slabs, with a thickness of 3 and 5mm, ideal for floors and walls, and the 1620x3240mm slabs, with a thickness of 12mm, conceived for horizontal furnishing surfaces.
With 130 surfaces in the catalogue, LAMINAM also offers a wide range of aesthetic solutions designed to appeal to all tastes and styles: soft, natural colours in keeping with the material research trend in design towards ultra-modern, industrial or three-dimensional textures.
At Euroshop, the company will be meeting visitors in a highly striking exhibition space featuring contrasting colour effects and showcasing the various applications of the LAMINAM slabs, from their use in interiors to furnishing applications.
Floors and walls have thus been created using surfaces from the Calce collection, in the colour Bianco, in the 1000x3000mm size, with a thickness of 3+mm, whose pale shade and delicate nuances take their inspiration from wet plaster and industrial concrete. The strikingly beautiful texture of the welcome desk has been created using the slabs from the Ossido collection, in the colour Bruno, used both for the top - 1620x3240mm size, thickness 12 mm, and the covering material, with a thickness of 5mm. The large central parallelepiped thus emerges from the white space it is set into like a monolith, a solid, resistant stone with unique aesthetic and functional characteristics.
The outstanding characteristics make the LAMINAM 1620x3240mm ceramic slabs with 12mm thickness an excellent choice for horizontal surfaces, from tables to bathroom and kitchen worktops, as a valid alternative to materials such as stone or marble, which have a higher cost and environmental impact.
Projected on the screen at the centre of the stand, the presentation is completed by a video illustrating the technical and aesthetic performance of the LAMINAM material: hygienic, easy to clean, resistant to mould and fungi, fire and heat, wear and tear and scratching, as well as cleaning products and detergents. In addition, the colour remains unaltered over time, and its resistance to a range of weather conditions makes it suitable for use both indoors, in the most delicate situations, and outdoors, where it is completely exposed to the elements and remains unaltered.
