LAMINAM 12 mm IN THE KITCHEN

2016 Kitchen: top, furnishings and wall covering Taichung /Taiwan 2016 Designer: LI JEN CHANG Cava, Bianco Statuario Venato 1620x3240 mm Laminam 12+

Created in 2016 by the designer Li Jen Chang, this sophisticated kitchen island goes for a dramatic, eye-catching look coupled with functional design and the excellent performance of the Laminam ceramic slab from which it is crafted.

The material's stability and optimum resistance, together with its other key properties, make LAMINAM slabs an outstanding material for kitchens. Indeed, in addition to their innate hygiene and ease of cleaning, they do not release elements in solution and are therefore entirely suitable for contact with foodstuffs, and are resistant to:

• wear, scratches and deep abrasion

• mildew and fungi

• stains, including tough stains like wine, coffee, lemon and olive oil

• chemicals

• thermal shock and humidity

• heat and fire

Of the 5 available slab collections in the size 1620x3240x12 mm, for both the worktops and the wall and kitchen unit coverings the Taiwanese designer chose the texture Cava - Bianco Statuario Venato, a veritable magnifying glass on the natural quarry. The project incorporates bookmatching, where the veining of adjoining surfaces is matched to create a dramatic mirror-image effect that adds a real wow factor to the sink and hob worktops.
