Laminam @ KBB Birmingham, United Kingdom 4th-7th March 2018 Hall 18 - Booth 123
LAMINAM, specialist in the production of large ceramic slabs with minimum thickness, will be exhibiting at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham during KBB, the reference trade fair for the English kitchens and bathrooms industry, from 4th until 7th March.
Among the companies that best express the excellence and innovation of Italian industry worldwide, LAMINAM chooses this event to present the massive potential of its material in the furnishings industry to an audience of architects, interior designers and specialist companies.
The LAMINAM ceramic slab in the 1620x3240mm size in the 12 mm thickness is in fact ideal for use on horizontal surfaces, from table tops to bathroom and kitchen countertops, as a valid alternative to marble and stone materials which entail steeper costs and a bigger environmental impact, owing to its outstanding properties:
• Resistant to scratches and deep abrasion
• Resistant to mildew and fungi
• Resistant to stains
• Resistant to chemicals
• Resistant to UV rays
• Intrinsic hygienic quality
• Low maintenance and easy cleaning
• Easy processing
• Suitable for contact with food
The booth layout showcases the various methods of application of the LAMINAM slab, capable of “cladding” a setting and its furnishings with continuity and a strong visual impact, with a particular focus on the new 12 mm thick finishes.
The flooring in Laminam Pietra Grey 5+ provides a neutral and stylish base for the reception counter, which is in Pietra Grey 5+ and in Bianco Statuario Venato Lucidato 12+, installed in the beguiling “Book Match” combination.
The wall claddings are a mixture of new textures and consolidated ones: slabs of Pietra Grey, Arabescato Lucidato, Ossido Bruno, Noir Desir Lucidato, Bianco Statuario Venato Soft Touch, Emperador Extra Lucidato, Pietra di Savoia Grigia and Statuarietto Lucidato Book Match 12+ are alternated in a game of contrasting colours and textures.
A table in Bianco Assoluto 20 mm, the perfectly white surface available in the 5.6 mm, 12 mm and 20 mm thicknesses, demonstrates the various finishes of the edge, which can be achieved thanks to the easy processing of the material.
Last but by no means least, the slabs of Statuarietto, Pietra Grey Lucidata, Noir Desir and Bianco Statuario Venato Lucidato are placed on metal “A Frame” supports, the same supports used to store them at the end of the production cycle, created specifically to allow them to be stacked and to ensure they are kept perfectly intact throughout all stages of delivery: from packaging, to handling and shipping.
