Lapitec at Sicam for the first time

From 18 to 21 October 2016, hall 1 stand B29

The Italian company, exclusive manufacturer of full body sintered stone, will be at Sicam for the first time. On this occasion, the latest 2016 and 2017 colours will be presented. Among these is Avana: a warm colour that offers a contemporary nuance and has already become a classic. In addition, the three new veined finishes: Bernini, two-tone grey with ebony coloured veining; Donatello, a very pronounced arabesque on a background of light and warm nuances; Canova, with diagonal veining on a light base. Inside the stand, there will also be a wall with the whole palette of Lapitec colours and finishes. Finally, the centre of attention will be a Maistri kitchen, which expresses the product’s full potential, such as the possibility of eliminating the holes on the doors, giving a clean and very elegant design.

An innovative product, the perfect synergy between nature and technology

Lapitec® is a full body sintered stone made from completely natural raw materials, without the addition of any resins or oil derivatives. The patented technology allows large slabs – 1500x3365 mm with calibrated thicknesses of 12, 20 and 30 mm – with excellent physical and mechanical properties. In addition to this, there are seven finishes – Fossil, Vesuvio, Satin, Lux, Dune, Lithos and Arena – and a large palette of monochromatic and veined colours. From the smoothest finishes to the most structured, passing through an extensive range of shades, Lapitec® is a material that expresses its qualities in the kitchens of the most famous international brands.

A material chosen by kitchen icons

The slabs surface is non-absorbent, easy to clean and completely resistant to any kind of scratching and high temperatures. Moreover, the exclusive Bio-Care technology makes Lapitec® a self-cleaning and antibacterial material. For this reason, it was chosen by Pedini Cucine, that uses the full body sintered stone for the kitchen worktops and side walls in the Arts & Crafts project, with Lux, Satin and Vesuvio finishes. Valcucine, on the other hand, collaborated with Lapitec® to develop Carbontec by Lapitec®, an exclusive collection with a carbon micro woven roving to achieve reduced-thickness kitchen worktops and thinner profiles. Maistri Cucine has chosen Lapitec® for the Giza kitchen: a rhythmic alternation of Satin finished Bianco Crema and Ebano for the worktop, the cabinets and the drawers. Franke thought of Lapitec® to create Franke Stone by Lapitec®, which sums up the partnership between the two companies, available in four finishes and ten colours. In addition to these brands, the full body sintered stone has been chosen by another three big names: Scavolini, Effeti and PoggenPohl.
