Lapitec took part for the first time at Sicam, the International Exhibition dedicated to components, semi-finished products and accessories for the furniture industry. The fair has been an opportunity to present what is new in 2016: in fact, a new colour (Avana) has been added to the palette of monochromatic colours; moreover, the range of arabescatos has been enriched by three new options (Bernini, Canova and Donatello). The occasion was a key event for the company, whose presence confirms its particular attention to the world of the kitchen.

“This, our first time at Sicam”, comments Michele Ballarin, Director of Sales and Marketing at Lapitec, “it is strategic. It demonstrates our strong synergy with the great Italian tradition of building kitchens and, on the other hand, the great interest in Lapitec® shown by those working in the sector. It is a material that the market understands and appreciates more and more, which is an important recognition for our continual research and development work, carried out in collaboration with the major Italian and international brands”.

In fact, since it was brought to the market, full body sintered stone has been chosen for its ability to unite technical qualities and mechanical properties with an aesthetic, refined and versatile language. This is demonstrated by the collaborations with important kitchen names: Effeti, Franke, Maistri, minotticucine, Pedini Cucine, PoggenPohl, Scavolini, Valcucine.

“The distinctive feature of Lapitec® is its availability in large slabs”, continues Ballarin, “with three different thicknesses, a wide colour palette and numerous finishes, which make this material perfectly suited to kitchen applications. Moreover, the latest developments are leading us to create highly technological worktops, with refrigerated surfaces, invisible induction hobs and other customisations. This ability to go beyond the product and to develop unconventional projects with the customer, is an approach that we have always pursued and that is winning significant recognition”.
