Lema signs the made to measure wardrobes and walk-in closets of the elegant Holland Green apartment buildings in London
Lema, among the key-players of the Made in Italy in the world, has been chosen to realize the night systems of the 52 apartments of the new residential Holland Green in London: 110 wardrobes and 40 walk-in closets, characterized by elegant interior in maple frisee and matt lacquered exterior with grooved handles. Result of the extended know-how of Lema, the first Italian company to develop since 1981 a bespoke load-bearing side-panel system, they have been made by the Contract division, which offers the best custom-made solutions for all types of projects, thanks to the masterful work of a highly-specialised team of professionals collaborating with architects and designers.
Holland Park is a new reference to be added to the other prestigious projects by Lema in the UK. A positive trend also due to the opening in London in March 2015 of the first flagship store managed by the company, a prestigious space in the heart of Chelsea, that is dedicated to the description of the two divisions of the Group, Lema Casa and Lema Contract.
Holland Green is three apartment buildings, situated in Kensington, in the south area of Holland Park, a rare place in London where people can live in and around outstanding modern architecture, within a park. The buildings are grouped around the Commonwealth Institute exhibition hall, which is the proposed new home of the Design Museum. A ground-breaking piece of 1960s architecture that, after years of state of neglect, is been renovated by a team of designers led by John Pawson.
