MIPIM in Cannes is the world’s largest property trade fair, where German architects and engineers also find exceptional international clients. The joint stand under the umbrella of the Federal Chamber of Architects will showcase projects by leading German architectural and engineering offices that are successful internationally. The calibre of the people present at the opening ceremony is high, indicating the enormous importance attached to the joint platform. In addition to State Secretary Gunter Adler from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, further welcoming addresses will be given by Professor Ralf Niebergall, Vice President of the Federal Chamber of Architects, Dr Dr Rolf Friedrich Krause, the German Consul General in Marseilles, and Reiner Nagel, Chairman of the Federal Foundation for the Culture of Building.
The event will run from 15 to 18 March and include the presentation of the MIPIM AWARDS, for which four German projects are nominated. During the trade fair, the German Pavilion will act as somewhere to meet up and talk.
