Exceptional project using NedZink NOIR

That is the most fitting description for the detached house on the Hurk in Uden (The Netherlands), which blends seamlessly into its natural, green environment. Large, vertical glass fronts extend, as if of their own accord, towards the anthracite façades and roof constructed from NedZink NOIR. It is aesthetically handsome with its dark, timeless look and fine details and was clearly installed by the master hand of Slegers Meester in Felstechniek from Beek and Donk (The Netherlands). The choice of the Erps architects firm Van Houtum Architecten for the vertical standing seam of NedZink NOIR is a definite hit. "The NedZink NOIR is fixed in place with clips mounted on a warm roof construction on top of a vapour permeable, separation layer. This ensures that any condensation formation on the underside of the zinc can be drained off", explains Peter Slegers, director of Slegers Meester in Felstechniek. "We folded everything, the seams in every curve as well as the ridge and the dormer windows. It makes it really unique. What''s more the roof cannot jut out over the construction, which means that the NedZink NOIR retains its sleek look."
