Office building in the Belgian Quarter in Cologne revamped with attractive grey NedZink NOVA shingles

NedZink NOVA shingles in Cologne

The German city of Cologne has a genuine Belgian Quarter. The Quarter is home to a new, striking office building fitted with a sloping corner façade, inclined forward, featuring three staggered windows. The concrete building only has a couple of right angles. The slanting, intersecting lines where the offices are located give the building its characteristic appearance. The Cologne architect Krense specifically opted for NedZink NOVA shingles to perfectly coordinate the roof and the façade. The playful façade cladding of NedZink NOVA diamond-shaped shingles, with their characteristic grey patina, provides a pleasing contrast with the vast glass surfaces. This gave the office building a well-deserved revamp.
