Lightweight fill honeycomb structures

As part of a recapitalization of Maine's shoreline and surrounding areas, 800m3 of Nidaplast RA alveolar blocks were laid to reduce the vertical load on the tie-rods that support the sheet piles along Maine (tributary to Loire, which passes in the heart of Angers).

6 layers of Nidaplast RA come to form a lightened embankment along the bank and also provide a draining and resistant solution.
