Phormalab creates the downright five stars heating lamp

The outdoor furniture of the modern venues has to be more than comfortable and eye-catching: it has to assure excellent durability to any type of climate. In fact, quality outdoor furniture does not fade in sunlight exposure, it is not damaged by rain and humidity in time, and generally, thermal shocks do not affect the quality in time.

Not only: the best outdoor furniture on the market, is characterized by a unique, refined and easy to recognize design. Not just outdoor furniture, but masterpieces of the contemporary design, which allow to create refined outdoor spaces, where summer evenings become highly pleasurable experiences.

These premises moved Phormalab® in looking at the world of infrared heating. The aim was to introduce a new concept in this world that usually focuses only on efficiency and functionality: the concept of a fine heating lamp.

Unlike most of the infrared lamps, Hotdoor® is not manufactured by bending a metal sheet. Our designers worked above all at forms and attractive impact of the product.

The final result is a lamp in die-casting aluminum by dedicated moulds.

The special bending of internal reflecting surface required a dedicated mold too, and its final form combines design and maximum energy efficiency.

Hotdoor® and its components are protected by a design patent.

Wall and ceiling bearings and floor stems of Hotdoor® lamps are made of aluminum or of other corrosion and weathering resistant materials.

The infrared bulb is manufactured according to HeLeN technology of Philips, now developed by German company Dr. Fischer.

HeLeN bulb is the top of the quality in infrared technology: it assures a very long lamp life without any color alteration and a perfect impermeability against sprinkling of water (IPX5 protection) so that Hotdoor® lamp can be used outdoors.

Electrical wires are protected by a double silicone and high temperatures resistant sheath.

The lamp is supplied with special electrical connections assuring impermeability against rain and water jets also for outdoors installations.

Thus, from the elegant and sophisticated appearance, to the choice of the materials, Hotdoor was desgined to be a prerogative of high end dehors. A downright five stars heating lamp.
