New materials, bold colors and modern lines and ergonomics have rejuvenated the humble old wooden rocker. French designer Noé Duchaufour Lawrance reinvented the “classic American” rocking chair for American manufacturer Bernhardt Design. Maple wood was used for the spindles and cherry wood for the structure.

A snuggly, huggy, comfy, cozy rocking chair from Italian designer Giancarlo Cutello. Designer for Formabilio, the simple beech wood structure is wrapped in soft Italian wool felt.
