SURFACE BOUNDARIES BE GONE: BEYOND THE WALL

Sophisticated blend of raw materials into contemporary spiral

Beyond The Wall in all its Dekton glory stands tall, proudly representing a technological and industrial leap. This non-traditional, polycentric spiral effectively twists to a dramatic apex. While its unique look was by the hand of architect and designer Daniel Libeskind, it is the first structure created using Cosentino’s Dekton surface. What a pair! And now, after its temporary debut at Milan’s Design Week in 2013, a permanent version of this structure was presented on February 13, 2014, at the Cosentino Group’s headquarters in Almeria, Spain. It’s like setting in stone an ingenious method for surfaces which alters the design and architecture world forever. In addition to mixing raw materials to manipulate glass, porcelain and quality quartz products, Dekton’s exclusive feature of zero porosity, thus a lack of micro-defects, allows it full appreciation.
