A collection of objects for weathering the storms

The Made in Sea collection by Israeli designer Ariel Zuckerman exudes simplicity. Exploring the relationship between artificial and organic, the objects mimic a naturally occurring state. Composed of a chair, containers and bowls, each piece looks as if it spent years macerating in saltwater before being marooned by waves on a sandy shore. The concept is somehow irresistible, perhaps because it makes us feel like we are sitting on the edge of the sea.
