2014 might be the year of Philippe Nigro.

It has become difficult to ignore his work. A few days ago, it was Spike Jonze, the director of acclaimed Her, that elected him Designer of the Year in the last issue of Wallpaper. Before this, he had already made quite a sensation in Milan, in Paris where we met him, and at last week’s IMM Cologne.

It’s no wonder that Ligne Roset picked him to design the new Cosse Sofa. Needless to say, success did not affect his judgment. He has maintained the intelligence and meekness of his previous creations. Great attention has been paid to comfort with gentle and round lines making the sofa unpretentious. The sofa softly floats above the ground, leaning on an elegant and minimal wooden structure with simplicity and comfort to welcome the sitter.
