Virgin Holidays have built a South African inspired treehouse on London’s Southbank, to promote travel to South Africa.

The temporary treehouse installation (only there for one week) was inspired by the Lion Sands Game Reserve accommodation in South Africa.

The treehouse is positioned 35-feet above the ground.

The treehouse also has a private balcony and African-inspired design.

The best part about this treehouse is that you can win an overnight stay in it. More info here.

Virgin Holidays worked with interior designer Hubert Zandberg, who mentioned, ““The biggest challenge with this project was evoking the feeling of a treehouse in the middle of Africa, when we are clearly in the middle of London.”

Inside, you can see the African influence in the design.South African chef Petrus Madutlela, will prepare food like crocodile and ostrich to complete the experience.

Inside the bedroom, there are views of the London skyline.
