Kanji

Table

Kanji is a dining table which exudes an air of lightness. One of its remarkable features is its pedestal inspired by Japanese roofs. It consists of two supports on which the table top rests. Its central section is divided into distinct, independent sections in which elements such as steel trays or a stoneware cutting board can be placed. When not in use, these elements can conveniently be stored in a compartment under the table top. In this way, users can vary the appearance of this wooden table at will.

Statement by the jury

»The appeal of the Kanji dining table lies in its reduced design vocabulary and well thought-out versatility, which turns it into a very distinct item of furniture.«
