A new collection from the Dutch textile designer that was shown during Milan Design Week 2015

Mae Engelgeer is an Amsterdam-based designer that has us drooling over her (typically colorful) patterned textiles. While we love the cheerful tones of her other work, the new Mod Collection takes a break from pastels to experiment with more sober, elegant colors. The collection has a more mature feel with shades of black, blue and a touch of bordeaux. Color gradients and graphic patterns meld the restrained palette into a series of blankets and tea towels. The blankets are made from a blend of high quality yarns that include mohair, merino wool and cotton, while the tea towels that are made from cotton and linen. The collection was most recently shown during the Milan Design Week in a solo presentation called Textile Hues.
