An adaptable indoor/outdoor series by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

Vitra’s Belleville collection, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, made its debut at the 2015 Salone del Mobile in Milan. Consisting of a chair, armchair and two tables, the collection is highly versatile and can be used indoor or outdoor, at home or in a public space.

The collection is decidedly contemporary yet evokes something classic, much like the Parisian neighborhood after which it is named – a neighborhood that also houses the Bouroullecs’ atelier.

A single, slim frame of black polyamide characterizes the ultra-light stackable seating with barely-there curves that resemble serifs, the light cross strokes in typography. The contrasting shell can be made from a variety of materials including fabric, leather, plastic or ultra-thin plywood.

The two accompanying tables, round or rectangular, are available with black powder-coated aluminium legs and a range of surface materials.
