SCARS CREDENZA BY ALON DODO
Scars become strikingly graphic and aesthetically pleasing on this wooden credenza
Everyone has scars, a physical proof of survival. Even objects have scars from being dropped or burned or scratched. Often these scars are also a physical proof of memory. That’s perhaps what makes the Scars Credenza so fascinating. Israeli designer Alon Dodo has etched artificial scars into the wood of the credenza, turning the physical damage into artistic, geometric patterns. What differentiates the lines from traditional patterns is the roughness, the unfinished and unintentional impression that still manages to create a certain visual harmony.
