PALINDROME SERIES BY RICH BRILLIANT WILLING
Organically inspired lighting from an American design studio
Since 2007, Rich Brilliant Willing has been designing and manufacturing in Brooklyn, New York. Established by RISD graduates Theo Richardson, Charles Brill and Alexander Williams, the studio won Best New Designer at ICFF in 2011, was named to Forbes Magazine’s “30 under 30″ and was most recently nominated for a Smithson Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award.
At last month’s ICFF, they debuted a selection of new products, including the modular Palindrome chandelier. Available in four varying sizes, Palindrome’s shaped steel arms can be shaped, molded, twisted and turned to suit user needs and desires. The rotatable glass lamps are inspired by sand dollars and diffuse a soft LED light. All of the materials are locally sourced in Brooklyn.
