IDA BY LLOT LLOV

A multifunctional design with a social conscience

High-quality manufacturing is the core tenet of Llot Llov’s philosophy, and the German design collective makes good on their ideology by incorporating hand-woven macrame into their playful-yet-functional, part-ladder/part-shelving system IDA.

IDA is short for Ivita, Dace and Agnes, which are the names given to the three different rope ladders that make up the series. Made simply from wood and yarn, each piece is unique, elegant and useful

This product is the fruit of a collaboration with the socially conscious fashion enterprise MAMMU, a cause that works with young Latvian mothers in need. Indeed, the production of IDA was finalized during a workshop held with the mothers in Riga.

For Berlin Design Week, the design collective Llot Llov will be exhibiting at IN-HOUSE OBJECTS tomorrow, May 30th, where they will launch their new product, UPGRADE.
