A slow brewing coffeemaker from an American designer

Talk about a mesmerizing GIF! Craighton Berman Studio is hard at work on the MANUAL coffeemaker that will feed both your caffeine addiction and your eyes.

The pour-over coffee maker slowly brews delicious coffee straight into the drinking vessel, which means less dishes to do (hooray!). The double wall of glass allows a level of visual transparency, while preserving ideal brewing temperatures. Finally, a slightly slower brewing time allows the water to come in contact with the coffee for a bit longer, which we are told raises the levels of caffeine. So, while you wait, get lost in another GIF!

MANUAL is a prototype for the moment, but the studio will be launching a Kickstarter campaign sometime in 2014! So keep your eyes peeled, coffee fans!
