Discreet, adaptable shelving solutions from a German design team
Berlin-based linea1 designs barely-there steel shelving whose dimensions are adapted to the object it holds.
Established in 2004 by Irina Jurasic and Francesco Apuzzo, the German label has consistently focused on function and high-quality craftsmanship. Each piece is fabricated in Berlin, and the steel is not forged but rather bent into shape.
Simplicity defines the structured steel collection, which becomes a backdrop for colorful books, cds, magazines. Their coat rack creates an interesting contrast between the softness of cloth and stiff metal, all while remaining discreet – an excellent focus on function that doesn’t deny form.
