A Portugese design student rethinks the coffee machine

It’s Sunday morning! Time to get your coffee on! Let’s do it in style. Davide Mateus created the Café Balão for a design project at Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. It consists of a hand-blown glass balloon with integrated electrical elements that boil the water to create liquid black gold. Pretty sleek, right? Our only concern is quantity. We need our coffee!
