Why not indulge your vanity? Nina Tolstrup, a London-based Danish designer, makes it possible. Her Mirror chair encourages you to take a seat and study yourself for hours. The chair is a one-off from the ‘Re-imagined’ collection for which she recuperated abandoned metal chairs and rewelded them into a series of new objects. For Mirror chair, Tolstrup dressed the piece in fabric from Marc by Marc Jacobs’ S/S 2013 collection and added a swiveling mirror, creating a re-imagined vanity table. Narcissism isn’t always a bad thing, is it?
