Turning tradition on its head is most definitely a favorite pastime of some of our favorite designers and manufacturers. Ergo, we are pleased to present this absolutely unexpected, wood burning open hearth by Focus – the Ergofocus. Dominique Imbert, the company’s founder, challenged typically grounded fireplace design and created a chimney that quite literally ‘hangs from the sky.’ At the bottom of a made-to-measure flue, like a raindrop, rests the elegantly shaped and perfectly proportioned hearth, conceived with special care to maximize heat efficiency.
