This spring, Foscarini reintroduces Binic--a table lamp designed by Ionna Vautrin--in new colors that empower individual style: a so iconic piece that can wear different “clothes” In collaboration with Foscarini, the designer identified two groups of colors in opposite ends of the spectrum.
One set is inspired by the optimistic style of the 1950s, including bright yellow, pastel pink and turquoise green. The other is a set of neutrals that are contemporary and cool – white, grey and indigo. The new range of colors for the playful Binic lamp, allow it to take on different characters in different settings. Binic illuminates its immediate surrounding with an intense warm glow. The light is directed at its user, as if following their moves like a lighthouse. With rounded, almost cartoonish features, its compact size, range of colors and intimate light, Binic is the ultimate “personal” lighting object.
