The K-base of the Satellite Collection
When the London based design duo Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby created the K-shaped base for the Satellite Collection of Quodes, we immediately fell in love. You will observe their typical attention for detail in the design. For instance, if you take a closer look at the round edges of the base, they aren’t just round, they’re perfectly circular.
The light and minimalistic base carries the body of the cabinet. It’s an exercise in graphic composition and organised volumes. It is about proportion, modularity and purity with character.
If you want, the K-shaped base is available in any colour you could imagine. If you really want the base to stand out, use a bold colour and keep the body of the Satellite unblemished white. And it’s our advice to be daring and show off those feet!
