How paying homage to the genius of the wine and the river?
The rounded shapes of the building called the City of Civilizations and Wine are remarkable; as they can refer to the liquid element.
Located on the edges of the Garonne River, this outstanding project, designed by the XTU architectural agency, upset an old industrial district.
Composed of 10 levels, The City of Wine consists of a 13 350 square meters architectural space and a belvedere on the 8th floor (35 meters high).
A high precision work, in which Sadev takes part.
The structure of the exceptional building is made of 574 laminated arches and 2500 composite panel. 900 glazing recover it. For the construction of this work of
art,
the COVERIS company requested Sadev for the manufacturing of the precision fittings made of aluminum (the material was chosen for its mechanical performances) which maintain the glazings.
These 13 000 parts maintain the glass scales which compose the magnificent puzzle.
