CELSIUS 70 SA, the lighting solution at -60°C

Sammode, specialist for lighting solutions in harsh environments, launches the Celsius 70 SA range; a range of LED fittings especially designed to withstand extreme negative temperatures and proven to be the only reliable solution for high ceiling lighting in high shelf storage rooms <7m in those temperatures. Those products are most suitable for illuminating freezing tunnels or refrigeration rooms.

Integrating each 6 high efficient LED modules developed by Sammode, our fixtures offer an optimized light flux between -60°C and -35°C as well as an instantaneous full flux from switching on. They are equipped with fast attachment systems, combined with a waterproof plug, allowing a simple and fast “Plug&Play” mounting. Furthermore, Sammode developed special fixing brackets which comply with the Insurance Comity for Fire Prevention recommendations.

Finally, the locking system, coupled with judicious choices of materials, ensures an absolute imperviousness (IP68) during the whole lifetime of the luminaire, resisting to aggressive cleaning agents and high-pressure jet cleaning (IP69K). This chemical resilience and shock resistance are due to our housing of coextruded polycarbonate (PO) and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA).
