SISTEMA MASA AND KNAUF

In order to carry it out, Sistema Masa and Knauf had the participation of ITEC for the technical evaluation of the intermediate system of transition that allows the fixation of the systems with substructure and fixation of the ventilated façades of Sistema Masa to the Knauf's WM.es system of walls and metal framework and is based on the calculations presented by Sistema Masa, which has already hired BAC Engineering Consultancy Group (this prestigious group has been collaborating with our company since its inception).

Thanks to the efforts of Sistema Masa, to the agreement reached with Knauf and to the trust deposited by OAB of Carles Ferrater Arquitectes, we already have the first project with this symbiosis of systems for ventilated facades.

This new single-family house has combined, on the one hand, large-format ceramic tiles (up to 3600 x 1200mm) in large rhomboid and rectangular plates forming separate sets perimeter surrounded by respective metal profiles as a support structure and, on the other hand, In different positions and separations strategically located to protect the various windows.

The ventilated facade support system has been solved in combination with a Knauf Dry Wall light closing wall and the PF-ALT/SO-S system. Thanks to this collaboration we have developed an exclusive system of distribution and consolidation of loads from the ventilated facades (own weight and wind) transmitted directly to the substructure of the light enclosure.
